Baby Necessities!!!
This is my new project! I am making burp clothes, bibs and blankets.
Eventually I will have enough to start selling them. Let me know if you want me to make you something! I will have prices up later.

Burp Clothes: triple layered to soak up big spit ups!
Bibs: triple layered to soak up big spills! My own design. I could never find bibs that covered the right area with a good material. So I made one!
Blankets: soft and cuddly!

Here are some examples of my work:
(a couple bibs were made by my mother when we were in the designing process)

Bigger bib for bigger baby

Warm, fuzzy and fun blanket! I made this one for my new baby niece, Olive.

Small bib, for small baby :)

Laura at the pumpkin patch:

Ever seen a one year old make it through a corn maze by herself? I did! Two dead ends and one wrong turn, but she made it out.

Halloween:
Laura was a pumpkin for Halloween! This was my costume when I was little also. I am suprised it held up so well.
Trick-or-Treat with daddy. We only went to two houses, but she did well!
Home from a successful night! Now to get ready to hand out candy to the big kids.
Happy Birthday Lauralynn!!!!
Laura had a great birthday. We had a small party at our house. She has grown so fast in one year! I love being home and teaching her new things.

I wanted Laura to have a home made cake. Laura got her own little one to dive into.

Her new doll. She carries her around everywhere!

Feeding daddy!

Pony tail time!

Fell asleep on the floor talking to the dog

Where do I begin? Laura has grown up so fast this past week! She is learning new words, actions and took her first steps!

New words: Ball, uh-oh, ow, meow, ruff, bye.
New actions: When you ask her what a cat says, her response is...."Meow!" She knows how to give kisses. She pats her doll on the back like she is burping it. She gives "five". When she is petting an animal and I say "Gentle" she actually becomes more gentle! For a few weeks now I have taught her to hand me dirt, clumps of fur or little pieces of whatever off the floor so she doesn't eat them. Now she automatically picks things up and hands them to me without putting them in her mouth first. Who needs a vacuum? (just kidding, I vacuum every other day and shampoo every week because of all the animals we have!)

First time in the pool. She loved it!

First ball. Big deal you think......tell that to her, she loves that ball!

FIRST STEPS!!!!! (at 9.5 Months old. August 5th 2009)

Round 2 of steps!
The whole family was in Minnesota visiting my sisters. While we were there, we took some family pictures that had not been taken in about a million years!

Before going to the airport we stopped by the Mall of America!

This is the best sign EVER!!Is it not a good thing that I took my neice and baby shark hunting?

Laura and I went to visit my sisters in St. Cloud, MN and Baxter, MN. Our goal for the trip was to get family photos taken for the first time in almost a million years! My parents would meet up in Minnesota the next day. We started out our trip up at my sister Emily's house in Woodinville, WA

Here is Laura and her cousin Andrew playing a chase game at Emily's house.
Here is Laura and I on her first plane ride! She did so well. She slept most of the ride and didn't cry at all! We traveled with Emily and her family from SEA to MSP.

The day after we arrived at my sister Jennifer's house in St. Cloud there was a tornado warning and we had to scoop up all the kids and we went to the lower basement. The scary thing was Jennifer was at work and the only one of us that had been in a tornado warning was Jennifer's daughter Holly, and she is 5.

Here is Laura reading a book while we waited in the tornado shelter for the warning to expire.

Here is Holly and Andrew watching cartoons on the laptop and eating Goldfish crackers in the shelter. Apparently cartoons help calm the nerves durring a tornado warning.

Here is the sky after the tornado warning expired.

Another picture after the tornado warning. We then went to my sister Kathryn's house in Baxter.

Here is a picture of Laura and I at my sister Kathryn and her husband Brett's church on Sunday.

Here is my sister Jennifer and her Son, Thomas and daughter Holland. Izzy is on the top. She is my other sister Kathryn's daughter.

Kathryn's kids Izzy and Ethan standing next to the doughnuts.

This is what the people in this area in Minnesota call a "mountain". This is their down hill ski slope. HA HA HA!

Kathryn and Thomas at the lake. (One of ten thousand)

Here is Laura and I with Paul Bunyan, on our way out of town.
