Here is Laura at 11.5 weeks telling me a story.

As you all know Matt and I had a major addition to our family. Our little girl, Laura. Matt is still working as a landscaper. I ended up not returning to work in December. I stay home with Laura. I am excited that my seasonal job at Jackson Hewitt is coming up. Having less income will be hard, but Laura is worth it! She is 12 weeks now and starting to pull herself up and "talk". She is sleeping through the night and is content during the day. Matt and I didn't have a big Christmas this year, but Laura's Grandparents and Aunts and Uncles spoiled her. Having Lauralynn has been such a fun and rewarding experience. All I wanted to be was a mommy. I can't believe that being scared of pregnacy, labor and deliver almost stopped me from wanting to have kids. I feel blessed every day.

Lauralynn is now 4 weeks old and weighs just over 8lbs! (Picture shown taken at 3 weeks old)She is starting to hold her head up on her own for several seconds at a time. She is a very squirmy little girl, and will try to wiggle her way out of my arms. A funny new development this week is that she talks in her sleep. Very cute. She is still a very good baby and is growing very fast.

Lauralynn is now 2 weeks old. Matt and I are doing great, we love being parents! Laura really spoils us. Besides being a very mellow baby, she sleeps through the night! She is feeding well and doesn't cry very often. The dogs love her and the cats ignore her. Harley our Chihuahua doesn't know what to think yet. Laura is still very small and fits mainly into premies or hand-me-downs. Matt and I feel very blessed to have a healthy and happy baby.

38 weeks:
We are just about as ready for the arrival of our little girl as we can be. My due date is October 25th. Matt and I are very excited and hope for an easy delivery. This week is my last week of work, and I sure could use the rest. I have been very tired and showing multiple signs that delivery is soon. We feel blessed and want to thank our friends and family for the wonderful gifts that we have recieved. I feel blessed that our little girl has many special people to share her life with. As soon as she arrives I will post many pictures and stories about our new family.
