Because of the back pain I have been experiencing I will start the weaning process soon. I feel torn. On one hand, I love nursing and being able to provide the best nutrition. On the other hand my back will feel better and I will be able to fit back into my shirts. Either way I feel blessed to have a happy, healthy baby girl!
Here is Laura at 11.5 weeks telling me a story.

As you all know Matt and I had a major addition to our family. Our little girl, Laura. Matt is still working as a landscaper. I ended up not returning to work in December. I stay home with Laura. I am excited that my seasonal job at Jackson Hewitt is coming up. Having less income will be hard, but Laura is worth it! She is 12 weeks now and starting to pull herself up and "talk". She is sleeping through the night and is content during the day. Matt and I didn't have a big Christmas this year, but Laura's Grandparents and Aunts and Uncles spoiled her. Having Lauralynn has been such a fun and rewarding experience. All I wanted to be was a mommy. I can't believe that being scared of pregnacy, labor and deliver almost stopped me from wanting to have kids. I feel blessed every day.
Lauralynn is now 4 weeks old and weighs just over 8lbs! (Picture shown taken at 3 weeks old)She is starting to hold her head up on her own for several seconds at a time. She is a very squirmy little girl, and will try to wiggle her way out of my arms. A funny new development this week is that she talks in her sleep. Very cute. She is still a very good baby and is growing very fast.
